Recap: Achievement
Builders Corporation 2006
This year the Corporation sought
legislative consultants to address the issue of low test
scores in several states. We have secured consultants in
the following states:
Illinois,
Michigan,
Alabama,
Pennsylvania,
Oklahoma and
Missouri. Our goals
are to utilize these consultants to address legislators
as lobbyists for our company. So far the results have
been very good.
The company has secured two of
its former schools for this year. Those schools are
Kellman Corporate and Anna McDonald. Kellman is a
Chicago
Public School,
and Anna McDonald is a suburban school in
Manhattan,
IL. Also,
added to this list is the
Wood
View
Elementary School in
Bolingbrook,
Illinois and the
Aurora
Public
Schools..
The Reports that have been
generated this year are indicating a tremendous amount
of student achievement increase in all four Fundamental
Learning Areas: Math,
Reading, Science and
Social Science. It is this data that will give the
company a strong foothold for Spring sales.
One other avenue that is being
pursued by ABC is to replace the “paper-pencil” tests
used for state standards testing. The replacement we can
provide has immediate results and be administered to all
students ONLINE. This will allow for all tests to be
made available through the web delivery system and forgo
all of the late delivery issues made this year with
other companies.
We have sent out numerous emails
and made great strides to contact educators personally
about the program. A professional presentation has been
developed and used quite effectively in recent market
strategies.
In closing, the media has flooded
papers with poor student achievement scores and the need
for more money. The “Practice Makes Perfect” Program is
a proven tool that demonstrates its power in improving
student achievement as it relates to state standards. We
look forward to a Spring and Summer of sales and new
business as we begin our fifth
year.
